June 2009

So it's been a busy June! Carlye graduated from Dixon High..WOOHOO!! My parents, Spencer and his fiance were here for Carlye's graduation too. Then about a week later she moved to Davis with 2 of her good friends. She is still working hard at In N Out...and starting college in the fall..and having a fun time when shes not at work. We are so proud of her and know that she will reach her goals in life.

Alec and Lauren are like having twins sometimes...double trouble...add Kennadye and its triple the trouble! Kennadye keeps us all on our toes. Sunday she got sent to Dad during primary...not sure why...but later that day she was upset that her primary teacher was mad at her. If you knew her teacher...Sister Steers (also known as Grandma to her class..) you would know she wasn't mad at her. She really loves her teacher.

My mom was able to stay for about a week after Carlye's graduation...it was a really fun time. I got her addicted to quilting! Not that I am good at it...but I do love it! I only wish Stephanie Atwood still lived here so she could give me tips. Anyways, my mom just had her back surgery yesterday, I called her today to see how she is and she said "that she can't wait to get home to quilt " (only problem I have her awesome sewing machine!) so I guess she is on the mend.

August will be a fun month...my brother Spencer is marrying an awesome young lady. They are really alot of fun to be around. My kids love there almost new Aunt Erin.

I think thats about it for June...Hope everyone is having a fun and relaxing summer!

May 2009

OK...so it's been awhile since I have updated or even added anything to this blog. 18 days and counting til' Carlye graduates from High School!! I can't believe it. She plans on attending a Community College in the fall, along with some online courses. So far she plans to major in Nursing...which right now is awesome for her.

Happy Holidays to our Family and Friends...

We just want to take a moment and wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! Sometimes with all the hustle and bustle of what comes with the holidays we tend to forget the reason for Christmas. With the economy being crazy, we hope that each of us will take a moment and lend a helping hand to someone in need, whether it's a warm meal, a job lead, helping a friend with her children, or just listening when needed. The spirit of Christmas is in each of us...

Happy Holidays,
With Love from the Hasapis Family

November 2008

It's fall and almost Thanksgiving, we have alot to be thankful for. Number one on our list is our family. Carlye is a Senior, Alec 7th grade, Lauren 5th and Kennadye is almost 3! Jim is still at Avery Greene Honda and working alot of hours, even though he actually has 10 days off this month! We get to see him more. He is also busy as a 2nd counselor in the Bishopric. As for me I am just busy keeping up with the kids, especially Kennadye.
